New York High School Softball - Bishop Kearney bounces Pearl River
April 27, 2024: Rochester, NY 14617 The Bishop Kearney Kings routed the visiting Pearl River Pirates softball squad by a final score of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Kings (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tamarac (Troy, NY). The Bengals go into the non-league battle with a 9-0 record. In their last battle, Tamarac held off Mechanicville (Mechanicville, NY), 10-8, in a league battle.
The Pirates now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 27. Pearl River will meet a Legends squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Legends record now stands at 5-3.
