New Jersey High School Softball - Triton holds off Collingswood
April 27, 2024: Collingswood, NJ 08108 Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Collingswood Panthers (Collingswood, NJ), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Timber Creek Regional for a Tri-County - Liberty challenge on Monday, April 29. Triton will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ). The Chargers record now stands at 7-4.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Overbrook Rams (Pine Hill, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Collingswood will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Triton (Runnemede, NJ).
