Ohio High School Softball - Westlake bounces Cuyahoga Heights
April 27, 2024: Westlake, OH 44145 Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves (Cleveland, OH), 10-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Demons now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rocky River for a Great Lakes challenge on Monday, April 29. Westlake will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Cuyahoga Heights falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Red wolves travel to Fairview (Fairview Park, OH) to battle the Warriors in a Chagrin Valley - Metro challenge on Monday, April 29. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Fairview won 11-9 in their recent league challenge against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH)
