April 27, 2024: Campton, KY 41301 Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Green County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Wolfe County will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Fleming County falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to battle the Commodores in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Commodores enter the challenge with a record of 10-14. Tates Creek won 19-3 in their recent league challenge against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY)
