Michigan High School Softball - Norrix nudges Grosse Pointe South
April 27, 2024: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gull Lake for a Southwestern Michigan - East challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Norrix will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Grosse Pointe South falls to 14-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Holland (Holland, MI) to battle the Dutch in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Dutch enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
