South Carolina High School Soccer - Brookland-Cayce nudges Lugoff-Elgin
April 27, 2025: Cayce, SC 29033 In Sunday's non-league outing, the host Brookland-Cayce Bearcats soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Lugoff-Elgin Demons.
The Bearcats (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pendleton (Pendleton, SC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Pendleton was edged by Irmo (Columbia, SC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Demons confront the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a outing, on Thursday, May 1. Lugoff-Elgin will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Redhawks go into the outing with a 3-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Buford (Lancaster, SC).
