April 27, 2026: Thorndike, ME 04986 The Waterville Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Mount View Mustangs to 2 in the Panthers league win on Monday.
The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gardiner for a Class B South test on Wednesday, April 29. Waterville will play a Tigers team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Mount View drops to 2-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to play the Huskies in a Class C North test on Wednesday, April 29. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 2-5. Maine Central Institute lost 17-1 in their recent league test against Dexter (Dexter, ME)
