Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ), 6-3 in a league test.

With the win, Spotswood upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ) to battle the Scarlets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 30. The Scarlets come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Metuchen falls to 2-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ) to battle the Chiefs in a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Monday, May 2. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Piscataway won 4-3 in their recent league bout against Colonia (Colonia, NJ)
