April 28, 2023: Beloit, WI 53511 The Beloit Memorial Purple Knights baseball team (Beloit, WI), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Edgerton Crimson Tide (Edgerton, WI)
The Crimson Tide now hold a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evansville for a Rock Valley outing on Tuesday, May 2. Edgerton will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Monroe (Monroe, WI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Purple Knights confront the Madison East Purgolders (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight outing, on Saturday, April 29. Beloit Memorial will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Purgolders go into the outing with a 0-9 record after their 13-2 league loss to Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI).
