April 28, 2023: Chicago, IL 60625 Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL), 2-1 in a league match.
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 2. Northside will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL).
With the loss, Schurz drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, May 12.
