Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA), 7-0 in a league test.

The Tritons now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Classical Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 2.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) in a City test, on Monday, May 1. Hoover will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Chieftains come into the test with a 4-12 record after their 8-7 league win over Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
