With the win, Dakota upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Port Huron/Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI) to battle the Big Reds in a non-league outing on Monday, May 1. The Big Reds go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Port Huron/Port Huron Northern lost 9-5 in their recent non-league outing against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI)
