April 28, 2023: Farmington, ME 04938 In Friday's non-league contest, the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), by a margin of 15-9.
With the triumph, Poland moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Knights host Greely (Cumberland Center, ME) to play the Rangers in a Class B South contest on Saturday, April 29. The Rangers come into the contest with a record of 1-4. Greely lost 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Edward Little (Auburn, ME)
In their next game, the Cougars play the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 1. Mt. Blue will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 7-2 league win over Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
