Illinois High School Softball - Ottawa bounces Seneca
April 28, 2023: Ottawa, IL 61350 The Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) softball routed the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 11-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (16-5) will now prepare for their bout against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the Interstate Eight bout with a 11-8 record. In their last bout, Sandwich notched a victory over Streator (Streator, IL), 5-2, in a non-league bout.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lowpoint-Washburn for a Tri-County challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Seneca will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-14.
