The West Central Trojans baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Caston Comets to 14 in the Trojans non-league win on Monday.

The Trojans now hold a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Newton for a Midwest test on Tuesday, April 29. West Central will play a Spartans team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, Caston drops to 10-4 on the year. The Comets host Southwood (Wabash, IN) to play the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-8. Southwood lost 26-3 in their recent league test against Peru (Peru, IN)
