South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), 12-11 in a league match.

With the triumph, South Point advances its record to 11-8 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Greenwave in a Big South 3A match on Tuesday, April 29. The Greenwave come into the match with a record of 4-16. Ashbrook lost 9-6 in their recent non-league match against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

The Mountaineers now have a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A match on Tuesday, April 29. Kings Mountain will battle a Storm squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Storm record now stands at 15-5.
