The Cougars now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Carson will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 9-0 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Knights record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Mount Pleasant moves to 9-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to encounter the Comets in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, April 30. The Comets go into the challenge with a record of 3-12. North Stanly lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)
