With the triumph, James River improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Knights host Floyd County (Floyd, VA) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a record of 9-2. Floyd County won 28-10 in their recent non-league contest against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)
The Cavaliers now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cave Spring for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. Lord Botetourt will face a Knights squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.
