The Douglas County Huskies lacrosse team (Castle Rock, CO), was nudged 5-3 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO)

With the victory, Ponderosa advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO) to encounter the Kadets in a 4A Southern battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Kadets come into the battle with a record of 11-1. Air Academy lost 12-11 in their recent league battle against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Huskies now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a 5A League #1 battle on Wednesday, April 30. Douglas County will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 15-6 non-league win over Conifer (Conifer, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
