Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Amundsen Vikings (Chicago, IL), 13-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Taft upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to play the Thunderbolts in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. The Thunderbolts enter the game with a record of 12-6. Andrew lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Lockport (Lockport, IL)

The Vikings now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Resurrection for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. Amundsen will play a Bandits squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Bandits record now stands at 8-8.
