The Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) softball nipped the visiting Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), 4-3 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Falcons now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lightridge for a Potomac outing on Tuesday, April 29. Briar Woods will encounter a Bolts team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 11-0.

With the loss, Brentsville District moves to 8-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Handley (Winchester, VA) to encounter the Judges in a Northwestern outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Judges come into the outing with a record of 0-7. Handley lost 16-2 in their recent league outing against Liberty (Bealeton, VA)
