The Mars Fightin' Planets softball squad (Mars, PA), was routed 13-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the triumph, Fox Chapel improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Foxes travel to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to face the Lancers in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 1. The Lancers enter the contest with a record of 9-10. Deer Lakes won 11-6 in their recent non-league contest against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA)

The Fightin' Planets now hold a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Shaler Area for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 30. Mars will face a Titans squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Titans record now stands at 6-4.
