Next, the Lions meet the Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 1. North Hunterdon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Madison (Madison, NJ).
The Lancers (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Payne Tech held off Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
