North Carolina High School Softball - Purnell Swett sneaks past Seventy-First
April 28, 2025: Pembroke, NC 28372 The Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) softball nipped the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 1-0 in Monday's league outing.
The Rams now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lumberton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 29. Purnell Swett will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 11-13.
With the loss, Seventy-First moves to 3-13 on the season.
