Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 5. Lamar County will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Model (Rome, GA).
