Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Waxahachie upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Region II District 11 test on Saturday, April 30. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 11-12. Mansfield won 16-3 in their recent league test against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)

With the defeat, DeSoto falls to 5-22 on the season.
