Wisconsin High School Baseball - Merrill holds off Tomahawk
April 29, 2022: Tomahawk, WI 54487 Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI), 9-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Merrill upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, May 2. The Indians come into the test with a record of 10-2. Mosinee won 19-6 in their recent league test against Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI)
With the defeat, Tomahawk falls to 1-4 on the season. The Hatchets host Antigo (Antigo, WI) to battle the Red Robins in a Great Northern test on Monday, May 2. The Red Robins come into the test with a record of 4-6.
