Georgia High School Soccer - Westminster held off by Oconee County
April 29, 2022: Watkinsville, GA 30677 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) and the visiting Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), saw Oconee County's soccer squad get by Westminster by a count of 1-0.
The Warriors now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Atlanta Christian for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 4. Oconee County will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 19-3.
With the loss, Westminster drops to 11-8 on the season.
