Maine High School Baseball - Berwick Academy nips Portsmouth Abbey
April 29, 2023: South Berwick, ME 03908 Berwick Academy Bulldogs (South Berwick, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI), 1-0 in a league test.
With the win, Berwick Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Landmark (Prides Crossing, MA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 3. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-2.
With the defeat, Portsmouth Abbey falls to 5-4 on the season. The Ravens host Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Knights come into the test with a record of 7-6. Buckingham Browne & Nichols lost 9-4 in their recent league test against St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA)
