April 29, 2023: Monument, CO 80132 The Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) baseball trounced the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 10-2 in Saturday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Lions play the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a contest, on Saturday, May 6. Lutheran will attempt to better on its 12-0 season record. The Kadets enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 14-5 league win over Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO).
The Bears now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cheyenne Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, May 5. Palmer Ridge will play a Red-Tailed Hawks squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Canon City (Canon City, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
