With the win, Winthrop upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Ramblers host Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME) to play the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-2.
With the defeat, Deering drops to 2-2 on the season. The Rams travel to South Portland (South Portland, ME) to play the Red Riots in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 3. The Red Riots go into the match with a record of 4-1. South Portland won 12-3 in their recent league match against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME)
