In Saturday's league contest, the Helena Bengals (Helena, MT) softball team the host Big Sky Eagles (Missoula, MT), by a margin of 10-7.

With the triumph, Helena moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Bengals travel to Butte (Butte, MT) to play the Bulldogs in a AA Western contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 1-9. Butte lost 17-3 in their recent league contest against Glacier (Kalispell, MT)

Next, the Eagles battle the Flathead Braves/Bravettes (Kalispell, MT) in a AA Western challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Big Sky will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Braves/Bravettes enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Columbia Falls (Columbia Falls, MT).
