In Saturday's non-league contest, the Kindred/Richland Colts (Kindred, ND) softball team the visiting Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND), by a margin of 8-6.

With the triumph, Kindred/Richland moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Colts travel to Hankinson/Fairmount (Hankinson, ND) to play the Pirates in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
