April 29, 2023: West Chester, OH 45069 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mercy McAuley Wolves (Cincinnati, OH), by a margin of 14-3.
With the triumph, Lakota West moves its record to 11-9 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Aviators in a Greater Miami contest on Monday, May 1. The Aviators come into the contest with a record of 6-12. Sycamore lost 16-0 in their recent league contest against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH)
In their next game, the Wolves play the Seton Saints (Cincinnati, OH) in a Girls Greater Catholic contest, on Monday, May 1. Mercy McAuley will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 4-3 league loss to Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati, OH).
