Illinois High School Volleyball - Proviso East over Bloom
April 29, 2024: Maywood, IL 60153 Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a West Suburban match, on Tuesday, April 30. Proviso East will attempt to advance on its 10-14 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 14-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL).
With the loss, Bloom drops to 3-20 on the campaign. The Blazing trojan travel to Joliet Central (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Steelmen in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 1. The Steelmen come into the match with a record of 11-14. Joliet Central lost 2-1 in their recent league match against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)
