Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 18-2 in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hidden Valley for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 1. Rockbridge County will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Titans record now stands at 5-6.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a Blue Ridge battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record.
