Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lockport drops to York
April 29, 2024: Elmhurst, IL 60126 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), 11-1 in a non-league battle.
The Dukes now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Rita for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 2. York will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
In their next game, the Porters clash with the Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) in a battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Lockport will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bengals come into the battle with a 7-5 record after their 15-1 league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
