Kentucky High School Softball - Blazer bounces Fairview
April 29, 2024: Ashland, KY 41102 Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), 16-1 in a league challenge.
The Tomcats now sport a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheelersburg for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Blazer will face a Pirates squad coming off a 14-3 league win over South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Fairview falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to East Carter (Grayson, KY) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 19-4. East Carter won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY)
