Ohio High School Softball - Fairmont bounces Wayne
April 29, 2024: Huber Heights, OH 45424 The Fairmont Firebirds routed the host Wayne Warriors softball squad by a final score of 13-3 in Monday's league battle.
The Firebirds (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Beavers go into the Greater Western Ohio battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Beavercreek topped Northmont (Clayton, OH), 4-3, in a league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Northwestern for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 30. Wayne will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Graham Local (St. Paris, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-10.
