Maine High School Softball - Fryeburg topped by Oxford Hills
April 29, 2024: South Paris, ME 04281 The Oxford Hills Vikings softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Fryeburg Raiders to 1 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Oxford Hills moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME) to play the Cougars in a Class A North game on Wednesday, May 1. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 2-2. Mt. Blue won 15-2 in their recent non-league game against Mount Abram (Strong, ME)
In their next game, the Raiders play the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a Class B South game, on Wednesday, May 1. Fryeburg will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 15-4 league loss to York (York, ME).
