Maine High School Softball - Lisbon bounces Winslow
April 29, 2024: Lisbon Falls, ME 04252 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) and the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), witnessed Lisbon's softball squad prevail over Winslow by a count of 17-9.
The Greyhounds now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Spruce Mountain for a Class C South match on Wednesday, May 1. Lisbon will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Waterville (Waterville, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Winslow moves to 1-5 on the season. The Black raiders travel to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME) to face the Bulldogs in a Class B North match on Wednesday, May 1. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 2-4. Lawrence won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Erskine Academy (South China, ME)
