April 29, 2025: Stewart, OH 45778 Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, OH) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH), 20-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, Waterford advances its record to 11-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Belpre (Belpre, OH) to battle the Golden Eagles in a Tri-Valley - Hocking match on Thursday, May 1. The Golden Eagles come into the match with a record of 4-9. Belpre lost 10-2 in their recent league match against Southern (Racine, OH)
The Lancers now have a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Valley for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 30. Federal Hocking will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to Huntington (Chillicothe, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
