In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Monticello Magic baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the St. Francis Fighting Saints.

The Magic (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Thunder go into the Mississippi 8 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Zimmerman was overwhelmed by Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN), 16-6, in a non-league game.
