North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Mecklenburg edged by Myers Park
April 29, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28210 Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Myers Park improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-4.
The Sabres now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berry for a test on Thursday, May 1. South Mecklenburg will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.
