The Leo Lions (Leo, IN) baseball got by the visiting Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN), 9-8 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Lions now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Haven for a challenge on Thursday, May 1. Leo will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-3 league loss to DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, Norwell drops to 3-3 on the year. The Knights host Bellmont (Decatur, IN) to clash with the Braves in a challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Bellmont won 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mississinewa (Gas City, IN)
