Virginia High School Lacrosse - Wakefield School drops to McLean
April 29, 2025: The Plains, VA 20198 McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), 12-1 in a non-league game.
With the victory, McLean advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Highlanders host Yorktown (Arlington, VA) to play the Patriots in a game on Thursday, May 1. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 6-3. Yorktown won 14-4 in their recent non-league game against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA)
The Fighting Owls now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington-Liberty for a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. Wakefield School will play a Generals team coming off a 7-7 non-league Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Generals record now stands at 8-2.
