April 29, 2025: Sparta, NJ 07871 The Sparta Spartans lacrosse squad scored 5 points and limited the visiting Morris Knolls Golden Eagles to 4 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Glen Ridge for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 1. Sparta will face a Ridgers squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Madison (Madison, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Morris Knolls falls to 7-4 on the year. The Golden eagles host West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ) to face the Knights in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 1. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 5-5. West Essex won 11-10 in their recent non-league outing against Livingston (Livingston, NJ)
