Minnesota High School Softball - St. Cloud Cathedral bounces Alexandria
April 29, 2025: Alexandria, MN 56308 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders softball team scored a tight 12-6 win over the Alexandria Cardinals.
The Crusaders (17-0) will now prepare for their match against Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Wolves come into the Granite Ridge match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Milaca nipped Albany (Albany, MN), 3-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) in a Central Lakes match, on Thursday, May 1. Alexandria will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 4-9 record after their 18-4 non-league win over Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN).
