In Tuesday's league test, the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), by a tally of 8-1.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A test, on Wednesday, April 30. Apex will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 15-3 record after their 18-3 league win over Cary (Cary, NC).

The Falcons (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps go into the Southwest Wake 4A test with a 1-18 record. In their last test, Cary was routed by Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 17-9, in a league test.
