In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Lester Prairie Bulldogs.

The Mustangs (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers come into the Tomahawk match with a 4-9 record.
